Rising seas wash Japanese war dead from Marshall Islands graves
Officials blame climate change as 26 skeletons are found on Santo Island after high tides batter Pacific archipelago
Rising sea levels have washed the skeletons of Japanese second world war soldiers from their grave on Marshall Islands. It is caused by global warming and threatens the existence of island. This island`s states, in particular, is under the threats such as damages to the crops due to rising sea levels. What is worse, most countries do not realized the seriousness of global warming.
I choose this article because recently I read the book named 'Unstoppable Global Warming'. This book show the new approach to the global warming and I became curious about it. Global warming is a worldwide problem. All countries have responsibility to protect natures and this matter cannot be settled by one country. Therefore, through global cooperations, all need to contribute to solve this issue.

Pacific island nations raised tuna fishing fee to save the endangered tuna. Due to the excessive number of distant fleets, Pacific island nations made this regulation. However, distant fleets do not follow the authority's regulation and keep fishing.
Global trend is changing from 'Economy' to 'Sustainability'. I agree with this trend and believe we should put more stress on conservation of tuna rather than economic benefits of fishing them. Therefore, the strong regulation made by Marshall island is absolutely necessary. To make it more effective, distant fleets have to cooperate with Marshall island's policy.

The new ECC(Education and Cultural Center) project will be leaded by RMI government and supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA). The roof of ECC which is the biggest gymnasium in Majure was destroyed by termites on June 2011. After three years, RMI government decided to renew the ECC and asked Japan for help for renovation.
I think Marshall islands should have renovated the ECC right after part of the roofs collapsed. It is directly related to the safety of citizens. During 3 years, kids entered the destroyed gym without any restraints and some took up residence there. If ECC building had collapsed, it would have been a huge tragedy. To sum up, government should be more sensitive to such safety issues of building.

On June 13th, Marshall Energy Company solved the power crisis which lasts for 30 hours. It started from blowing out of a electric transformer. Engineers tried to restore the power for several times. However, it caused a reverse effect that brought damages to the main engine.
I think management of electric system in Marshall islands should be improved. There were several problems. When main engine was broken, alternative generators did not work well. In addition, the number of engineers were insufficient. For example, in hospital, nurses needed to activate manual hand-pumping system instead of engineers. So Marshall islands's government should allocate more electric engineers to stabilize the electricity supply.
